The scanner processes up to 100 pages per minute or 200 images per minute in duplex mode while supporting a wide range of document types, from A8 to A3, folded A1 documents, long documents, plastic cards, envelopes, and paper weights from 20 to 413 g/m². Mixed document batches can be scanned without extensive preparation, helping improve productivity and reduce manual handling.

Its straight paper path provides reliable document transport for both standard and challenging originals. A selectable non-separation mode allows thick documents, folded documents, envelopes, and multi-layer document sets to be scanned safely. Skew Reducer technology helps prevent misaligned documents from affecting subsequent pages, while the Paper Protection function monitors paper movement and automatically stops feeding if irregularities are detected, helping reduce the risk of document damage.

The fi-7600 is designed for everyday usability with operation panels on both sides of the scanner, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed users. An integrated LCD display provides immediate access to scanner status and operating information. Independently adjustable ADF side guides and stacker guides help keep documents aligned before and after scanning.
