The Kodak SceyeX A4 PRIMEflash is a compact contactless overhead scanner for organisations that need to digitise a range of documents up to A4 without using a traditional document feeder. It is suitable for loose pages, receipts, ID cards, envelopes, stapled documents, bound materials and glossy pages.

Its 10-megapixel sensor captures document images in approximately one second. PRIMEflash lighting helps reduce reflections on glossy or uneven surfaces, supporting clear and readable results for materials that can be more difficult to scan with conventional equipment.

With Sceye Autoscan, users place a document within the projected capture area and the scanner automatically captures, straightens and crops the image. This reduces manual adjustments and supports efficient handling of mixed document types.

Documents can be saved as JPEG, TIFF or PDF files, including multipage PDFs. The optional Pro Software Package supports searchable PDF output and automated batch processing. TWAIN support enables integration with compatible capture and document-management applications.

The A4 model supports document sizes up to 302 × 226 mm, making it suited to service desks, administrative teams and back-office workflows that require fast, careful capture of varied A4-sized materials.
