It scans up to 210 pages per minute, or 420 images per minute in duplex, at 200 or 300 dpi. Its robust construction and built-in floor stand support unlimited daily scanning volumes.
The automatic 750-sheet elevator can be configured for batches of 100, 250, 500 or 750 sheets, allowing large multi-batch jobs to run with fewer loading interruptions. The scanner handles mixed documents, including fragile and extra-thick originals. Five independent ultrasonic zones help detect multi-feeds, while Intelligent Document Protection helps avoid jams, misfeeds and potential document damage.
Dynamic Flow Technology optimises the scanner’s processing paths for capture, image enhancement and data extraction. Automatic image rotation and skew detection help create clear, correctly oriented images for OCR and document-recognition workflows. Barcode reading and image addressing via sensors support document tracking and sequential numbering across scanned batches.
Controlled stacking keeps documents aligned after processing. The touchscreen control panel offers clear viewing from two ergonomic positions, while USB 2.0 connectivity, with USB 3.0 compatibility, supports Windows-based capture applications through TWAIN, ISIS and WIA drivers. Kodak Capture Pro Software and Kodak Info Input Solution are available as optional software.
