The Kodak S3140 Max is a high-performance compact production scanner for organisations with demanding document-capture requirements. It scans up to 140 pages per minute, or 280 images per minute in duplex, and is recommended for volumes of up to 120,000 pages per day.
Its 500-sheet automatic document feeder is designed for dependable processing of large and varied document batches. Ultrasonic multifeed detection with length detection, intelligent document protection, controlled stacking, enhanced jam recovery and a rear exit path help maintain throughput while protecting documents. The scanner supports documents from 63.5 × 71.1 mm up to 305 × 4,600 mm, and continuous mode enables scanning of unlimited document lengths.
The 3.5-inch colour touchscreen allows users to select and run configured scan jobs quickly. USB and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity enable direct workstation use or shared deployment, while physical and digital imprinting options support document tracking. Files can be saved in PDF/A, TIFF, JPEG, PNG and Microsoft Office formats, with FADGI mode providing uncompressed single-page TIFF output at 300 dpi.
