The Kodak S3120 Max is a compact production scanner designed for high-volume document capture in government, service bureau and enterprise environments. It scans up to 120 pages per minute, or 240 images per minute in duplex, and is recommended for daily volumes of up to 100,000 pages.

Its 500-sheet automatic document feeder is built to process a wide variety of document types efficiently. Ultrasonic multifeed detection with length detection, intelligent document protection, controlled stacking, enhanced jam recovery and a rear exit path help reduce interruptions and protect documents during scanning. The scanner handles documents from 63.5 × 71.1 mm up to 305 × 4,600 mm, while continuous mode supports unlimited document lengths.

A 3.5-inch colour touchscreen provides quick access to configured scan jobs. USB and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity support direct or shared use, while physical and digital imprinting options help with document tracking. Output formats include PDF/A, TIFF, JPEG, PNG and Microsoft Office formats. FADGI mode supports uncompressed single-page TIFF output at 300 dpi.
