As the highest-speed model in the i4000 Series, it is suitable for centralised mailrooms, large document processing centres, digitisation service providers, and other environments where continuous throughput is essential.
The scanner processes up to 150 pages per minute or 300 images per minute in duplex mode and includes a 500-sheet automatic document feeder. With a recommended daily volume of up to 75,000 pages, it supports intensive production workloads and the processing of varied media, including thin paper, cards, and long documents.
Advanced feeding technology and document protection features help reduce interruptions and protect originals during scanning. Perfect Page image processing automatically optimises captured images to support consistent and readable digital output across different document types and conditions.
The KODAK i4850 connects via USB 3.0 and supports TWAIN and ISIS drivers for integration with compatible document capture applications. It can create files in formats including PDF, searchable PDF, TIFF, and JPEG.
