The Kodak E1040 is a compact document scanner designed for organisations that need faster, reliable document capture without a large desktop footprint. It scans up to 40 pages per minute, or 80 images per minute in duplex, and is recommended for daily volumes of up to 5,000 pages.

Its 80-sheet automatic document feeder supports a wide range of paper sizes and weights, including small documents such as A8 sheets, ID cards, embossed cards and insurance cards. Multi-feed detection helps reduce paper-feeding errors and protect original documents during scanning.

Dual Illumination and Perfect Page technology help create clear digital images and improve OCR accuracy. Up to nine configured scan jobs can be selected from the scanner’s numeric display. Smart Touch supports one-touch delivery to file locations, cloud services, email, network printers and compatible third-party applications.

With TWAIN, ISIS, WIA and SANE driver support, the Kodak E1040 can integrate with compatible document capture and business applications. Optional flatbed accessories are available for passports, fragile documents and other materials that are unsuitable for the feeder.
