The InoTec SCAMAX® 6x1 series is designed for organisations that require high-volume production scanning in a compact desktop format. Built for continuous 24/7 operation, it is suitable for incoming-mail processing, archive digitisation, large conversion projects, and commercial scanning services.

Available as the InoTec SCAMAX® 601, 611, 621, and 631, the series scans from 120 to 210 sheets per minute in A4 landscape orientation. In duplex mode, this provides up to 420 images per minute. Actual performance depends on factors including document type, paper condition, computer configuration, and scan application.

Its belt transport system supports careful, reliable handling of a wide range of documents. Variable input pressure and a selectable reduced-speed mode help operators process more sensitive or difficult originals. The accessible transport path also simplifies routine cleaning and the removal of jams.

Perfect Document Technology provides onboard image processing, including deskew, cropping, dynamic binarisation, blank-page detection, automatic colour detection, and content-based rotation. Documents can be sorted at full scanning speed using patch codes, counters, document length, and 1D or 2D barcodes.

The InoTec SCAMAX® 6x1 supports image quality requirements in line with FADGI 3-star and ISO 19264-1, making it suitable for professional digitisation and archival workflows where consistent image quality and sustained throughput are required.
