The Image Access WideTEK® 48CL is designed for organizations that need fast and reliable large-format scanning for technical documents and other wide-format materials. It supports originals up to 48 inches wide and is suitable for engineering drawings, architectural plans, maps, construction documents, and other materials used in professional workflows.

The CIS imaging system supports colour scanning at speeds of up to 10 inches per second at 150 dpi. At the full 48-inch width and 600 dpi, it operates at up to 1.3 inches per second. Scanning speeds can be adjusted when slower document transport is required for fragile or valuable originals.

The WideTEK® 48CL is a standalone system with an integrated 64-bit Linux PC and Scan2Net technology, eliminating the need for a dedicated external computer. Files can be sent directly to USB devices, network resources, SMB, FTP, hot folders, cloud applications, and compatible printers.

It supports PDF, PDF/A, JPEG, TIFF, and multipage files, with automatic rotation, cropping, and deskew. The WideTEK® 48CL is designed to meet FADGI 3-star and ISO 19264-1 Level B image-quality criteria.
