The Image Access WideTEK® 36 is designed for organizations that need reliable large-format scanning for regular production work and the careful digitisation of sensitive materials. It supports documents up to 36 inches wide and is suitable for technical drawings, maps, plans, historical documents, and other large-format originals.

Three CCD camera systems with a patented image-stitching process provide detailed image capture at resolutions up to 1200 dpi. Bright white LED illumination supports consistent scanning without warm-up time, while the sealed camera system helps protect imaging components from dust.

For historical and fragile materials, the document transport system uses specialised rollers that provide controlled pressure during scanning. The background drum does not touch the glass plate, helping reduce the risk of scratches and document skew. An optional white background drum can improve contrast when scanning sepia documents and film-based originals.

Scan2Net technology supports output to USB devices, network resources, SMB, FTP, printers, and hot folders. The WideTEK® 36 is designed to meet FADGI 3-star and ISO 19264-1 Level B image-quality criteria.
