The Image Access WideTEK 12 is designed for organisations that need more than standard flatbed scanning in a compact format. It can digitise business documents, diagrams, books, newspapers, maps, construction drawings, and bound documents up to A3 format.

The scanner supports high-resolution colour, grayscale, and black-and-white capture for everyday workflows and specialist imaging requirements. Its scratch-resistant, non-reflective, borderless glass plate supports careful placement of originals and helps prevent bent edges. Walk-up scanning and browser-based operation make it suitable for shared environments.

The WideTEK 12 also supports 3D surface capture for inspection and quality-control applications where texture and physical detail are important. Typical applications include Braille on packaging, printed security features, and electronic components. It scans its full 12.3 × 18.5-inch area in less than three seconds at 300 dpi and supports 3D scanning at up to 600 dpi.

The scanner can be operated through its touchscreen, a standard web browser, or compatible mobile devices. It is designed to meet FADGI 3-star, Metamorfoze Light, and ISO 19264-1 Level B image-quality criteria.
