The Image Access WideTEK 60ART-800 is designed for museums, galleries, archives, reprography specialists, and organisations digitising large and valuable works of art. It supports contact-free capture of paintings, drawings, watercolours, pastels, mixed-media works, and historical artworks up to 60 × 80 inches.

The artwork moves beneath the CCD camera system without the image surface coming into contact with the scanner. This supports the careful digitisation of fragile materials and can also be used for paintings that are still wet, provided they can be safely placed on the scanning bed. The system accommodates artwork up to 140 mm high and framed objects with a total thickness of up to 240 mm.

Optical resolution up to 1200 × 1200 dpi supports detailed image capture, while dedicated texture scanning records surface characteristics for reproduction and analysis. Dual LED lighting with natural-light diffusion provides illumination without infrared or ultraviolet radiation. Face-up scanning and real-time image display allow operators to monitor and adjust results during capture.

The WideTEK 60ART-800 is designed to meet FADGI 4-star and ISO 19264-1 Level A image-quality criteria.
