The Image Access BookTEK 5 V2S Semiautomatic is designed for archives, libraries, museums, cultural institutions, and digitisation service providers requiring consistent image quality and high productivity. It supports originals up to A2+, including books, magazines, posters, folders, and other bound materials.

Its self-adjusting book cradle supports scanning at a 120° angle or in flat mode, allowing operators to adapt the setup to different document conditions and binding types. The motorised V-shaped glass plate helps flatten pages for consistent capture while supporting the book binding. It can also be moved horizontally for precise positioning along the book fold.

The scanner can be used with the motorised V-shaped glass plate, an optional flat glass plate, or without a glass plate. This flexibility supports careful handling of collection materials while reducing repetitive physical tasks. Designed for production environments, including continuous operation, the BookTEK 5 V2S Semiautomatic can be combined with Image Access capture software for large-scale professional digitisation workflows.
