The Image Access BookTEK 5 V2 Archive is an A2+ overhead book scanner for demanding archive and digitisation projects. Its self-adjusting cradle supports 120° V-shaped and flat scanning at resolutions up to 600 dpi.
The Image Access BookTEK 5 V2 Archive is designed for archives, libraries, museums, cultural institutions, and digitisation service providers that require high image quality and productive handling of varied collection materials. It supports originals up to A2+, including books, magazines, posters, folders, and bound documents.
Its self-adjusting book cradle supports scanning at a 120° angle or in flat mode, with height compensation of up to 10 cm. The removable V-shaped glass plate supports careful handling of book bindings and can be replaced with an optional flat glass plate. The scanner can also be used without a glass plate where this is more appropriate for the original.
The adaptable configuration allows operators to select a suitable scanning method for each item while maintaining efficient workflows. Designed for production environments, including continuous operation, the BookTEK 5 V2 Archive can be combined with Image Access capture software for large-scale digitisation projects. It is designed to meet FADGI, Metamorfoze, and ISO 19264 image-quality criteria.
