The i2S SupraScan Quartz A0 Series includes professional overhead scanners for fine art, archives, books, and large-format cultural heritage materials. Advanced imaging and controlled lighting support detailed capture of paintings, drawings, glossy originals, and textured surfaces.
The i2S SupraScan Quartz A0 Series is designed for libraries, archives, museums, fine art reproduction, and other professional digitisation environments requiring detailed capture of large and valuable originals. Available in A0 LED and A0 LED HD configurations, the series combines i2S camera technology with specialised optical and lighting functions.
Relief enhancement supports the reproduction of surface details and textures in paintings, drawings, historical works, and other three-dimensional surfaces. A glare control system helps reduce reflections when digitising glossy or reflective originals, including materials protected by transparent coverings.
The series also incorporates 3D scanning technology based on photometric stereo algorithms and image analysis. This enables the capture of surface information for applications involving cultural heritage, fine art reproduction, and decorative materials.
The cameras are designed and produced by i2S for professional digital imaging and image processing. The SupraScan Quartz A0 LED HD supports digitisation workflows aligned with ISO 19264-1 Level A, Metamorfoze Full, and FADGI 4-star requirements, making it suitable for preservation and reproduction projects where detailed image capture and recognised quality standards are important.
