The 10.1-inch touchscreen allows users to scan directly to destinations including email, network folders, FTP servers, USB storage, fax, and printers. Scanning speeds of up to 45 pages per minute, an 85-sheet automatic document feeder, and a recommended daily volume of up to 6,000 scans support regular departmental use.

The ScanFront 400 handles a wide range of media, including standard business documents, business cards, plastic cards, passports, documents up to 3 metres long, and A3 originals using folio mode.
