The Avision FB2380E is an A4 book scanner designed to capture bound materials close to the spine while reducing shadows and text distortion. Its specialised flatbed design is suitable for books, documents, photos, and other materials requiring careful handling.
For organisations that need to digitise books and bound materials without pressing them flat against a conventional scanner, the Avision FB2380E provides a specialised A4 book scanning solution. Its slanted front edge allows pages to be positioned close to the scanning area, capturing content within 2 mm of the book spine while helping to reduce shadows and text distortion.
The flatbed design supports careful handling of books and other bound originals, making the scanner suitable for libraries, archives, documentation centres, and organisations managing specialist collections. CCD imaging technology and an optical resolution of up to 600 dpi support detailed digital capture, while an A4 page can be scanned in approximately four seconds at 200 dpi in black and white.
The FB2380E can also capture photos, ID cards, business cards, and other loose originals. Multiple items placed on the flatbed can be automatically detected and cropped into separate images. An optional 50-sheet automatic document feeder can be added for organisations that also need to process batches of loose documents.
