Built for demanding scanning operations, the Avision AD8120UN combines high throughput with flexible document handling and shared network access. Its built-in Gigabit Ethernet connection allows the scanner to be used across a local network, supporting departments that process large volumes of documents from multiple workstations.

The scanner captures up to 120 pages per minute or 240 images per minute in duplex mode. A 500-sheet automatic document feeder supports continuous batch scanning, while the recommended daily volume of up to 100,000 sheets makes it suitable for centralised mailrooms, back-office operations, and production scanning environments.

The AD8120UN handles documents up to A3 size, as well as long documents up to 6,096 mm. Its U-turn and straight paper paths provide flexibility for standard paper, delicate originals, thick media, plastic cards, and embossed cards up to 1.25 mm thick. Reverse roller technology, ultrasonic double-feed detection, and staple detection help protect documents and support reliable processing.

Users can start predefined scan jobs from the scanner or a connected computer. The supplied software supports image enhancement, OCR-based conversion, and sending documents to destinations such as network folders, cloud services, Microsoft SharePoint, FTP, and email.
